US market for selling items will be much bigger than eu?
What makes you say that? The EU has about 500 million inhabitants (and this is just the EU, not the European continent!), the US only has 300 million.|||Chinese farmers will have horrid delay on EU (lower on US , to some extent) and prolly won't even see it as a valid target. But yea no reason whatsoever for an European to move to US except playing with friends(with **** ping, altho we don't really know how much these servers evolved , we all just remember that going on US WEST was well... 400 insta ping).|||Quote:
Point 1. Well US market is way much bigger than EU.
No, the PC market is actually bigger in EU then US. US people are more about consoles.
Look on HoN, LoL, TF2 and other games where you can buy things with money. There are loads of people getting hats, characters etc for real cash.
I just wonder if people in Poland are gonna be put in Euro cash region, or we we will be stack in PLN RMAH region.|||maybe ill stop by the us-servers and check out the auction house and compare prices, but other than that? no ill be playing in Europe like i did in d2.|||The only reason I would do that would be that I would be able to post in the US forums which are by far more active but that's not enough to offset the latency while playing the game. Which I will be doing instead of posting on forums.|||Quote:

rofl...just lol.
sure, india has bigger population than both the population of EU and the US combined, so it must have a bigger market in gaming or other entertainments, right?|||Quote:

He made a valid point, because there are more people with computers and internet access in Europe than in India. You have to remember that most people in India are poor and live in faming communities, whereas European countries are industrialized. Go eat a burger or something.|||Bigger market means stronger demand and supply, means prices will be low as ****. Also the ping man 150 at the best time 400 at worst. Hell man I remember playing D2 over 56k modem. You know what? NEVER ****ING AGAIN.
I'd say EU people are way more PC and Sony land. People here usually play PC FPS games or RTS games. And if you have a console you don't tend to play shooters on it like they do in the US. Well maybe in the UK? The only people I kno that play a lot of FPS on consoels are UK guys. Germans are way more PC oriented towards FPS and RTS. And Eastern Europe tends to play old / free games because they have ****ty hardware or because games tend to cost too much.
I for one have a PC, PS3, DS, PSP, PS2. I almost exclusively play stuff on my PC. I use the PS3/2 for jRPGs or stuff like Bayonetta/Uncharted that I can't play on the PC. If I could I sure as hell would.
Anyways that has gotten way offtopic.
TL;DR ****ING PING MAN, NO WAY MAN, Market gonna be bigger but ****tier in the US.|||i would never go near the us region ping will be bad enough in eu as it is. Could have been the videos themselves but quite a few of the beta videos stutter and lag.
Besides i will play 99% alone and never use any of the auction houses so they areof no concern to me|||Quote:

read what he replies to. he responds to the question and challenges it by stating there are more people in EU than in the US, hence having a bigger market, which is not always the case. Take diablo 2 for example, there are more people on the US servers than people on the EU server. the diablo scene is bigger here.
