I have been a long time fan of this site and just recently decided to make an account to join you all on the forums.
I've been playing Diablo since 1996 when it was first released and have been hooked ever since. There have been many failed tests in school and 'lost' homework assignments when I was younger because of the franchise alone, but also a bond with some of the coolest people I have ever met. I hope to become an active part of the community and make new friends for the upcoming Diablo 3 experience. Glad to be here and hope to see you all in the beta!|||Hello everyone,
I recently decided to register an account. I've been lurking on this website for about 3-4 years now. Since Flux was giving out some nifty PoE keys i thought, ah why the hell not.
And also this site actually gives its opinion about the game rather then taking Blizzard in the ars like Sixen.
Thank you for excisting|||Didn't bother to post here before posting elsewhere but .... HIYA EVERYBODY!|||Like many here, Diablo 2 owned my life for a good few years that I probably should have spent doing something more productive. Regardless, I managed to get degrees in Chinese and Economics and moved from the country in Colorado, USA to a giant industrial city in China.
I was extremely excited when Diablo 3 was announced, but my interest waned as I focused on my work and other life responsibilities that I just didn't have when Diablo 2 was around. That all changed with the announcement of the Real Money Auction House. Here I saw an opportunity to combine my work with something I loved, which is the sure way to a happy and productive life.
I created the website, http://d3conomy.com and just had its soft launch. It is not a news site like incgamers or others, but rather will focus on the markets and economy of Diablo 3. I want my site to turn into the number one resource for players that are looking to make money playing the game they love. Whether that means players that are more casual and just want to earn back the money they paid for the game, or the hardcore ones that have dreams of quitting their day jobs and surviving off income earned through the game.
I look forward to being an active member of this community and hopefully providing unique and valuable insight where I can. Nice to meet you all.
Edit* Can't PM mod until 10 posts so if this breaks rules (it shouldn't), please PM me.|||Started when it was released, was pretty much hardcore back then.
Real-life interfered and I spent 6 years away from the game.
Now I'm back, and can't wait for D3!|||Got into the D2 scene because of a few friends back in around 04. i got the game and they rushed me through everything. i wasn't an avid player i only played from time to time to kill time. I had lots of fun back in Diablo 2 but i wasn't a good player to be exact because i didn't really pay that much attention to the game since i was a lot younger in 2004 (terrible attention span -__-.) After seeing videos on gameplay of Diablo 3 I've been following up on it ever since. I tried to recreate the times of D2 but playing on a LAN with a few of my friends and realized how nice LAN support is however Blizzard isn't implementing it on D3 ):.|||I used to post here and play DII all the time back in the day. Definitely back for DIII because this place was a great community before and I'm sure not much as changed in that aspect. Look forward to posting here again.
