digitally downloading or buying it from the store? - Page 3

[:1]I would like to download it digitally (as it's probably going to be available a week or two before the game is actually out), but I'm on satellite so no.

But I'd be getting a boxed copy anyway. I'm a sucker for CEs, a habit I'm trying to kick...but it's Diablo. Going to buy a copy for me, one for the wife. Maybe one for my brother although when I told him about the recent changes, he looked like someone broke his damn heart. But he'll come around.|||I'll probably preorder a box.

That is if I'm buying the game at all.|||Digital download. Any game that comes to me in box shares the same pattern: box is destroyed at sight and goes to trash, manual is thrown out of the window and only the cd/dvd is saved. I say NO to the boxes! Rawr!|||Digital download. With the prices in Hungary, games are usually cheaper if you buy them online. You are also guaranteed to get them at the day of release this way and you don't have wait in lines at the store. I don't see the point of boxed copies anymore, especially for online-only games. You look at them once, then put them away to gather dust on a shelf, never to be seen again. From my point of view, it's a waste of materials for sentimental reasons only.|||store. this will be my first and last CE|||Midnight opening, CE (unless I am cash-strapped), and I'll play as long as I can that first night, I think.

I wonder what type of crowd I'll see there. The first time I did something like this was for Burning Crusade, and it was a lot of kids bragging about their PvP, their full Tier 3 sets, etc. The crowds were a little smaller for Lich King and Cataclysm, and less social...some of the people at the Cata release seemed embarrassed, which I thought was strange.

It will be interesting to see how many D2 vets are there, and how many were single player, realm player, etc.|||Pre-loading a digital copy so I can play at midnight. Will also pre-order the CE and will apply any item codes to my original key when it arrives. Then I will either sell the spare key to my Dad or keep it for more char slots if they refuse to up the 10 char limit.|||the more i think about it, i think i'll go to the store. If the servers are down at least I can look at the box!
