Best place to buy D3? Pre-order, BNet? - Page 3

[:1]I pre-ordered from Gamestop with over night shipping. But if blizzard lets us download it before release and then play at midnight, I'll definitely switch.

Maybe i will go to the midnight release? Sounds like fun..depends on when it is.

But about returning an open game to the store, my local Gamestop does not accept PC games to be returned once open. Not sure about Walmart.|||Quote:

For some unknown reasons Blizz think that 1$ = 1Euro.

And that would be taxes. Someone has to pay for the "free" health care and 50yr old retirees...|||with SC2 a online gamestore here in netherlands gave away beta-keys with the preorders. I'm hoping it will be the same for D3, and in that case I'll be buying it from them again.|||I would suggest you few sites I am buying from. I bought number of products and been always satisfied..darkspore, shogun2, dcuo..

check it

also try hit google with ioffer forum. Made few trades there, seems pretty solid.

With USA prices and EU prices, 1=1 policy..its a ripoff..they are greedy pigs. Not only USA citizens have bigger salary than vast majority of europians. They also have lower prices and they(game companies) block us EU citizens to buy digital products, which have absolutely no cost of shipping and therefore should be "price united".|||Quote:

I hear I was always told it was your insanely high taxes, tariffs, vats, and distributors marking up your products. Remember we don't have VAT and very few tariffs so we don't get **** marked up to high hell. We can also avoid taxes altogether by ordering things out of our state.|||Does Blizzard will work with an all-language pack, regardless of region?

Because i bought a box of SC2 here (South America) and was stuck with th Spanish version.

What about D3? Blizzard said something about it?|||Quote:

Oh thats all true(sadly) But remember that if I buy game online in american store I am paying american taxes and thats it. I dont have to pay EU taxes, since game purchase is considered as thing of your own need. Generally everything that costs under 100$ is considered to be in this category (sorry for this term, there must be specific english term). Thus you dont have to pay any other taxes. Now tell me, why do I have to pay 30% more?

Its digital download there is no shipping. I can take it from USA server and have it 1% slower download than from german server. The product is also same. There is no difference in language, support is also unified. SO why I am paying 30%?

These are my arguments why it is ripoff and thievery.

Have nice day :-)|||Quote:

Huh ? My brother bought Polish version of SC2, and after registering it on b.net account he was able to download English installer.|||Quote:

indeed -___- and why the heck does GB amazon offer it for 29 pound ? thats like 35 euro - i feel pretty pissed about that as a german , how comes the descrepance is more than 25 euro pre release ? wtf

I think it depends on the "lowest price guarantee" ... the 59,90 is still just a price that is "imagined"... though you have lowest price guarantee it will become much less than it is now due to pricing of media markt or saturn - whatever (I hope so).|||Quote:

Don't all retailers let you return an open game for the exact same thing.

For instance bestbuy says

  • Opened computer software, movies, music and video games can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund

That may be true. I just know it works at Wal-Mart. I plan on getting at least two CD-Keys through this method, if not just for an extra 10 character spaces.
