Shared wallet for all chars?

It seems so. Check this one from Kaivax:

Your gold is not a pile of items saved in your stash. It is a value that you can access from all of your characters.

Thoughts? Personaly I like the idea |||I like the idea, makes me wonder if there will be a gold cap at all?|||This makes sense, since your real money in your account will obviously be accessible to all characters. I wonder how it affects HC characters.|||Sounds good to me. There is a gold cap in wow but I guess these things can be changed very quickly if needed.|||Mixed thoughts on it. Its convenient for the new AH, but am I the only one who enjoys the early game starting out dressed in rags and penniless having to scrimp every last gold coin to get that ite you need.

Having a huge pool sat there kind of destroys that feeling of having nothing but the clothes on your back.|||Just another time sink removed which can only be good.|||Quote:

I don't see the problem really. Sure, you start out in rags and no money. But that's only an issue for about 10 minutes of playing. After which you have bought your tomes of identify and town portal, and then you forget about gold entirely. That's how it was for me in Diablo 2 at least. I wouldn't bother spending gold on a new character. If I have some low level gear of passable quality I might dress up the new char some, but that's about it.|||Quote:

I don't see any good reason that it should be different for HC characters. If hardcore characters didn't share a wallet, then people would just mule their gold constantly onto an HC alt, and that would just be an annoyance.

Some people might think it's "not hardcore" enough, but I don't think it's so terrible to be able to build up an economic cushion in order to make subsequent characters a little bit easier to build up. It's not like people didn't mule in D2.|||Quote:

You're not the only one. I found that fun time to time. I would do the same for WoW characters as well. Toss them 100g at the start and go from there.|||Quote:

I agree with you completely and have no issue with a wallet being shared between HC characters. I meant that the way it is worded leaves it open to interpretation about if the wallet is shared between ALL your characters (HC as well as SC).

Thinking about it though, there is no way that Blizzard will allow that since gold for SC chars will be tied to real currency and they want to take that out for HC. Also, on HC servers gold will be more valuable so it would not be fair and would ruin that dynamic if Blizz allowed a shared wallet.
