RMAH delays beta? - Page 3

There was no indication from either Mike Morhaime or Rob Pardo saying that there are delays based on the auction house - not that I recall, anyway. I think this stems from speculation and perhaps a bad news tip that Rushter may have receieved.|||Quote:

So, basically, this thread is about a delay that hasn't actually happened or been indicated or hinted at?

WTF people.

Becouse it's about RMAH. People just start whining and crying.|||Quote:

Can someone explain what the hell is going on in this thread?

1. Where did Blizzard say beta is delayed?

2. Where did Blizzard say DIII is delayed?

3. Where is Muggs bluequote from?

My quote came from the main page of this site in an article that appeared briefly and is now gone. I still had it cached in my Newsreader so that is where I quoted from.|||The RMAH is not going to be in the beta. How could it possibly be the cause of any delay?|||Quote:

Same goes for people blaming runestones. How can a Normal Act 2 on feature affect the first half of act 1?|||I swear some of these threads remind me of the game telephone I used to play as a kid. Someone says something and then someone else runs with it and at the end the sky is falling and you are your own grandfather.|||Quote:

well then what feature of the game has caused D3 development to take over 3 years ? (and the 3 1/4 years is just since the game was announced; who knows how much time they spent on the game before then)

the legal, technical and security aspects of a RMAH had to have taken more resources and time than anything else

do you really think it takes this long to make followers ?

or animations for rune skills ?|||Quote:

You do realize it took 4 years between diablo I and diablo ii right?

And given the success of wow -- which is more successful than any game blizzard has ever made -- and the staff turnover at blizzard north and the merger with activision...I highly doubt rmah is causing any significant delay in the games development.|||Probably because if beta is all about stress testing then they already have beta tested the mechanics of the game.|||Quote:

what does the staff turnover at blizzard north have to do with the past 4 years ?

what does the merger with activision have to do with the past 4 years ?

both of those happened well before D3 was even announced
