Blizzard Legacy, The Movie

Let me start by saying that aside from being a hardcore gamer, i am also a movie geek.

I usually love to watch dramatic and more meaningful movies and not so much movies, that use effects as fundamentals the way it goes with Michael Bay movies. Regardless, i found the movie Tron Legacy extremely enjoyable, despite the fact, that the Tron movies were never about dramatic story and all that goodness, but rather revolve around effects and soundtrack, which were still awesome (not saying that they are bad or anything) and are mostly directed towards the 3d audience - more simple people that don't wanna burden themselves so much with complex stories Christopher Nolan style. Nothing wrong with that.

But like i said, i enjoyed Tron Legacy a lot, especially because certain idea that came in my crazy mind. I found certain similarities between some of the story in Tron Legacy and some ideas of mine that i think would really make up an awesome story for a potential Blizzard movie.

For those that are not familiar with the story in Tron Legacy, i am gonna threw few, not so major spoilers below, so those that haven't seen the movie, you can stop reading here.

So basically the main guy from the first movie, the one played by Jeff Bridges, develops a machine that can move you into a digital world on a quantum level, but gets himself stuck in the digital world for a long time. While his son grows up, the board of shareholders seizes control over his father's company from his partner, the guy that created Tron, and puts this guy in charge that monetizes their OS and charges insane fees to schools and students, using as a justification, that their system is "the most secure" in order to turn the company into big corporation, for the profit of the shareholders.

The son of the main guy has little or no interest in the way the company operates, but even he gets pissed off by some of their decisions, so he goes on to upload their operational system for free on the web as a message to the board. Later on after him discovering the digital world and finding his dad and after undergoing many adventures, he returns and he finally decides to regain control and set things right.

So, the basic script for the Blizzard Legacy movie is this:

The old developers that made all the great Legacy games end up stuck in the World of WarCraft. In desperation, the shareholders turn to a great evil, a man known as Bobby Kotick, that influences the new gen of developers to include a whole bunch of features that are intended to maximize profit and not for the benefit of the end users such users, such as always online requirement and implementation of a real money auction house.

Bunch of aggravated fans go on to attempt to rescue the Legacy developers, but find them old and tired of fighting a losing battle versus their evil doubles, copies of themselves, that only feed on their resistance to swim in pools of cash.

Are the few true fans going to succeed and rescue the Legacy developers, or will they fail, ultimately resulting in Bobby Kotick extinguishing all good and pure from this world, you will have to wait to find out in Blizzard Legacy, The Movie.

You''ll pay to go see it, **** you! Coming this December.|||this is what happens when there's no D3 people....
