I predict that the first expansion pack will introduce gear rewards for PVP, which will lead slowly to the downfall of D3
Step 1) The WoW-kids want to see their version of arena in D3 + the whole enlarge your e-peen competitions that comes along with it .
Step 2) Blizzard will give in to the crying and whining of ex-WoW players that never played D2 and don't understand that Diablo in it's origin is a PvE game and not a PvP game.
Step 3) This will be followed by even more crying and whining regarding balance-issues in pvp.
Step 4) Blizzard will start balancing the game around PvP which will screw the PvE.
Step 5) The community will get divided, game goes to hell

Although I know that Jay Wilson said that they would never balance D3 from a PvP point of view, I don't trust anything what they're saying or claiming.
I seriously do hope that my prediction will be proven wrong

Although I know that Jay Wilson said that they would never balance D3 from a PvP point of view...
He also said that PvP and PvM skills can be balanced separately so they have no effect on each other. This is one that there is no need to worry about.|||i was into Diablo before it went mainstream|||Quote:

They also said there will be a single offline player but oh well...
Back to topic:
1. The last boss will not be Diablo maybe Diablo but obviously he won't be dead (not even a fake death) at this release.
2. The expansion(s) character(s) won't be returning class
3. Demon Hunter (the range Archetype) will once again be the master of PvP
4. In spite of Whiners and Fanboys, the game will sell well and will receive a good score but will fail to be mentioned "legendary" like the previous ones.|||I predict even more cutting of content.
I wouldn't be suprised if skillrunes would go from 5 to 3 for example, with a placeholder Blizzard BS excuse.
We also haven't heard much about Artisans anymore, maybe all of them now automatically level up alongside your character instead of giving the player the choice?
Any new info on gems? Nope. Probably because their isn't much to give info about since they don't bring anything new to the table.
What about that "new system to customize the character's attributes"? Don't tell me it was supposed to be the 3 passives? lol. They just don't mention it anymore since they figure everyone forgot about their empty promises.|||I've got another one:
3rd party websites spring up that offer item sales with lower cash-out fees than Blizz's RMAH. They are wildly successful. Blizz then must decide whether to open the "closed loop" of bobby bucks, or even reduce the cash out %.|||New prediction after seeing some of the leaked info about skill runes:
In a few years, people will look back and laugh at the people who said D3 lacks character customization. "And how come?" they'll say. "Because there are no points to assign! rofl"|||Diablo 3 will be as addicting as coke.
Diablo 2 will become like 80's porn. (It's still porn but the women have bushes)|||Quote:

I apologize if this has been brought up already, but I couldn't help but notice that this "thing" has an upper body and arms like Mephisto, a Head like Diablo and freakishly long stuff on the back like Baal. Also 2 "additional heads" on its shoulders...
Prime Evil Hybrid? Final Boss of Diablo 3?

[...]it's a Prime Evil Hybrid, i tell you
